Hi all,
Kind of topic but worth a shot

I am looking for some sort of Auto mechanic training (not a college or a full multi year program) it s more of a hobby that i enjoy and i am pretty handy but self thought, anything bolt on, oil changes, break changes etc i have done but i am looking for more hands on training around the here (cary/raleigh/durhan/chapel hill area)
any help is much appropriated

i had though of that but i want somewhere where practicals will be the main thing, that way learning is quicker and getting job will not be difficult, an hoping to get some vocational institute, if there's any mechanic out there pls contribute to this thread. thanks caroladawg2

couldn't find one though...

was also thinking about some home woodworking course, all I found was too pro...

Durham Tech has certificate programs that are short, and virtually all "hands on":

Automotive Systems Technology Certificates

my second career option will be to attend college for the HVAC..."heating, ventilation, air conditioning" tech,
this is another great career and the pay is good n' raising. so if am able to get any vacational school for either of the program, i'll gladly jump at it.

thanks carolina, will def loook it up, am also considering HVAC..."heating, ventilation, air conditioning" tech, so any school will focus on practicals will be good for me
