Default Recommendation for Wood Floor Installer

Does any body know any company that does a good job and it's not too expensive to do Wood Floor Installation?
I have carpet in my living room and dinning room, I want to change them to the Wood Floor.

I have used Paul Sedaris (Sedaris Floors) a couple times with good quality results. I am not sure of the price, as it was billed through the builder.

I have heard good things about Sedaris as well. I see them doing a bit of work downtown in many of the historic homes being rennovated along Blount Street. I would check them out.

BTW,

I also know of a company I would not recommend. My wife and I used them and while in the end we got what we wanted they did a poor job initially and were difficult to deal with and I would never recommend them. Becasue of the TOS of this board I will not name them here, but I will send you a DM. There are too many decent flooring companies in the Triangle to waste your hard earned money on a bad one.

Default Might be on the pricey side, but top notch work

We just had some repairs done to the original oak floors in our 40 year-old house and I'm pretty pleased with the work done so far. The company is Accent Hardwood Flooring and they work all over the Triangle.

We changed the layout in the kitchen and hence had a big hole in the middle of the floor that needed to be patched. The previous owners had had a water leak in the downstairs lavatory and half the floor had to be replaced.
Accent is coming back next week to sand and refinish (I dread the dust). I'll try to post again in a few days when the work is complete.
