Cary is about 25-30 minutes from there, and Mebane is what, like an hour? I don't think either one will be any competition at all lol

I've been to both, but got two different dishes, though I did enjoy my meal better at Soo, don't know if you guys have been to Oiso but it is also good, I put it above Golden Pig....but that's partly because I felt my meat veggie ratio was off with my Bibimbap(don't get me wrong, love my veggies but I only had like 3 pieces of meat in the dish).

I love Soo, but a couple of things could make it better -
1. Add a wider selection of sides to the menu
2. Add an option to sample all the sauces in one order (I heard multiple tables ask if this was possible last time I was there)

Woodlawn = Mebane....right next to Mebane.

I'm guessing they are talking about Woodlawn Avenue (Road? Street?) In South Charlotte, which is in the general area of Pineville, just a bit closer to DT Charlotte, and near the airport area....

My only legitimate gripe.

Don't think so because they also separately list Pineville as an "opening soon" location. But Woodlawn does seem like an odd place to open a location, i.e., quite rural.

As an aside, I made KFC at home using the recipe in the NY Times and it was great!

The restaurant has signed a deal for the space under Libretto’s at ParkTowne Village. Construction inside has already begun.

So yeah, Woodlawn as in Woodlawn Rd, not Woodlawn near Mebane.
