I usually go to 1.99 Dry Clean X-Press in Morrisville because I thought that was the best price around. Today I happened to go to 2.50 Dry Clean City on the corner of McCrimmon and Davis. Sure enough they clean shirts for $1.99 as well. Plus the old lady at the counter was friendliest of all. I felt bad when she told me that they haven't been getting much business.
My husband tried them out. He dropped off before 9 on Wednesday and they estimated his shirts and one pair of shorts to be ready after 5 on Saturday. On Saturday we got a call that it wouldn't be until Monday. They send out to the dry cleaners next to the Fresh Market! They were very nice but took too long.
I always wear starched white shirts and it really does not make much of a difference who does the shirt because after several trips, if you put it up to a new one, it looks less white. Not something you want to see.
Good thing Paul Fredricks provides a great shirt for a cheap price.
