I understand exactly where you are coming from, and the apologist stance is nearly as repugnant as the activity. You truly sound like the guy who says, "Sex offenders get railroaded. How was I supposed to know she was only 13?"
You clearly don't understand where I'm coming from, as evident by the "pedophilia" spin. A pedophile that's been convicted of harming a child is another matter entirely.
I would be saying the exact same thing if a woman owned a cofee shop, and someone hacked her phone and found evidence on her anonymous twitter account that she is a man-hating lesbian. If there's no evidence that she's mistreating male customers of her coffee shop, who cares what she says to friends when she's drunk or ranting just to be ranting.
Nobody should have their privacy violated like that, and if their privacy is violated, any "information" that anyone thinks they learned about the person would be discarded by any thinking individual. Not that I would expect that from some of the posters here.

I hope that wasn't inferred by my original post. I also feel that we would, but it is true that a larger city offers more anonymity then say Ashville and Chapel Hill. Better chance of incidents like this slipping under the radar. TBH I really wanted to hear local opinions about what happened and was trying to follow CDF protocal by linking the post to our area. Not to imply that we should or would have a differing opinion.

I did not bring pedophilia into this. I brought skewed morality into it.
As an apologist for inarguably repugnant behavior, you seem pretty sensitive, except when it comes to dealing with the facts presented on the issue.

For what it's worth I think your original question was worthwhile. Asheville is fertile ground for hippy-activism, and I don't think hippy-activists are bothered when others point that out. It's just part of the local vibe. The job market is a bit tough in a smaller town constrained by the mountains, people get bored and seek activities like this sort of protests in an effort to feel like intellectuals or that they are making a difference. I think in the Triangle it might make news for a day but people are generally too busy to make a similar fuss. Maybe a group of college girls would do that if they don't have a carwash to drum up business for -- even the Duke pornstar maybe.. lol
"You truly sound like the guy who says, "Sex offenders get railroaded. How was I supposed to know she was only 13?"
...you didn't really mean "she was only 13", you meant to say "she was outside morality norms" instead?
Why not just go back and edit the post then?
Why would I edit anything merely to comfort someone who supports repugnant behavior?
To touch on the OP's query, I think these guys would be out of business in Cary, Apex, Raleigh, and several other Triangle towns.
There are plenty of ways for women to be abused and demeaned without going to a business that provides coffee, at a cost, as a portal to those "services."
Why would I edit anything merely to comfort someone who supports repugnant behavior?
To help alleviate cases of saying things only to immediately announce you didn't say them? Do what you want to do for self-comfort, we don't care about your private behavior or what you support.

Oh, what fun!
