Kitts Creek
I was just googling on the internet and somehow came across some subdivision called Kitts Creek.
Anyone know about it?

Here is an old thread about Kitt's Creek that features photos of the community.

I'm sure there are a few more threads out there about the neighborhood. Just use the search feature to find them.

A wonderful community.
Kitt Creek is located in Morrisville Durham city line. It is conviniently located close to beltline. Rtp is 10 min away and the Airport is 15 min away. This is a wonderfull community with homes priiced at $290 and up. This is a new community and the property value in this area seems to be going up.
Morrisville is a small town and is between Cary and Durham also close to Raleigh. This town is in the centre of everything but it does not have any clubs or Movie theaters. It is close community town. To make the story short, you will like this area and it is very nice looking community. I hope this helps. Good luck.

I noted that they have taken 13K to 38K off select homes, calling it their January specials. I think wise builders should make an adjustment, relieved to see they aren't in denial regarding this market.

Kitts Creek - Noise
Does anybody have a good idea what the noise levels are like at Kitts Creek?
It doesn't appear to be directly in the flight path for RDU and I saw North Raleigh Guy's pics & comments from last year. What about the construction noise for Kitts Creek itself, 540 on the southern edge of the neighborhood, and the railroad track on the eastern edge?
Thanks,
John

Noise is subjective. Be aware of the planes and trains and 540. Make a point of being in ANY neighborhood when you think noise would be at its highest level and see if it bothers you.
I am amazed at the number of houses in Kitts Creek that back up to 540 and amazed that so many people bought them. The point is, the noise didn't bother them.

It was a good job to get them built and sold before 540 opened...
And I think the bungalows would be very quiet, located across the subdivision away from trains and planes.
