We recently purchased flowers for a funeral over the phone. Called florist direct. Agreed on price. Florist charged our credit card 15% more than agreed price. We have ordered flowers over the phone many times and when we agree on a price, that is what is charged. Have not called them yet, just wondering if this is standard operating procedure in Eastern NC? Thanks for input.

Could there have been taxes and a delivery fee added on?

If so, why were we not advised, that is the question? Never happened to us before on purchasing flowers direct

You need to call the florist. Charging more than agreed, nor disclosing any aspect of the total cost, is not standard procedure anywhere.

Hope you used a credit card.

If you were charged more than agreed and the florist won't help. have your bank do a credit card chargeback.

Florist agreed to credit the difference. I wonder how often this occurs and customer never says anything.
