There's no such thing as a "fix it" ticket in NC. There are just charges deemed so minor, that the DA almost always dismisses them when you get it fixed. I believe this will be one such charge.

Yeah I am pretty sure It will get dropped...I was more curious how you found the actions of the officer

he parked at the trees at the light...I had 3 choices, North 401, south 401, straight across rogers rd... wouldn't matter which way I went... he was waiting

I think the only way this case would not be thrown out would be if the OP opens his mouth and bad-mouths the cop the way he has in his posts here. OP should walk in with proof that lights are fixed and working with duct tape on his mouth. Case dismissed

This is basically what I was saying in my earlier post. Respect to the OP, but being right won't help you. Show them it's fixed, stick to the relevant facts, swallow some pride and get out of there with your wallet intact...

I read this post last week and I wasn't aware of this parking lot exception. I noticed today that the Food Lion on Lake Wheeler (at Tyron Road) has a sign that says "No Trespassing Police Have Jurisdiction On This Lot".
I can't recall seeing a sign like this before. Would be interesting if the OP's lot had this sign.
