Read about it today in the Triangle Business Journal. In addition to the Sprouts Grocery, there will be a Chronic Taco, Bad Daddy's Burger and City BBQ. Of course it will also have your standard matress store and nail salon. I believe a Pappa Murphy's too.

Sprouts Farmers Market will be another participant in a competitive market. It is a specialty organic grocer that will compete against Earth Fare, Trader Joe's and Whole Foods Market. It has a presence in the Atlanta, Georgia region where Kroger and Publix dominate among conventional supermarkets.

If the Sprouts in NC is even half as good as they were in Phoenix, this will be killer! They had fresh produce at terrific prices. Not ALL organic (which is just fine with me), not all perfect looking (also fine with ne), but always fresh and well priced.

Their meat selection was also quite good, and items on sale were a good price. Wine selection was small, but again, often better priced than elsewhere (except Costco).

For those who demand organic , gluten free, grass fed and what not - this should be a viable and cheaper alternative to what we currently have available.

I'M HAPPY TO READ ABOUT THIS!

Hooray! One of the little things I've been missing since we moved here! As a former resident of Scottsdale/PV, Sprouts is awesome. The ongoing joke was you could walk out of a Whole Foods with one $100 bag of groceries for 4-6 bags at Sprouts. And the quality was just as good. They also have a great vitamin and supplement section that was 1/3 of the price. Thanks for sharing the news North Raleigh Guy! Appreciate it!

Nice! I think they will do well in that location, and its good to hear that the nearby neighborhoods are at peace with it all.

I think that's probably one of my favorite areas in the Triangle overall.

Interesting, yet another competitor. Sprouts was pretty good when I went there in California.

I just wanted to point out that Atlantic becomes Litchford so it's not quite correct to say it's on Atlantic. Should be a nice place though. Disappointed that it's north of 540. I was hoping it would be closer to my commute home.

Looks interesting. Very out of the way for myself unfortunately. Looking at their website the decor reminds me of the new Lowe's foods layout, minus the clucking chicken hats. Lol

I wish we would get stores like that here in the Brier Creek area.
