OMG, they have been THE WORST this year!! We seem to battle them every few years, but they've been vicious this time around! I thought I had chiggers this summer, but we now think it was from the ants. They bite something fierce! We haven't been able to get rid of them with the usual remedies.

I noticed all the yards on our street are peppered with big mounds. I don't know what to do about them. Feels like a sci-fi movie or something!!

We have a 3-year-old grandson with us every other week now. We saw him stomping around the kitchen. Hubby asked what he was doing, and he responded, "I'm trying to kill darn ants!" (Only he didn't say "darn"!) We had to leave the room so he wouldn't see us laugh! lol

We moved in last week to our place off of Stony Hill and we had ants. They were on the deck and crawled under the door into the kitchen. We sprayed and sprayed and they still came back. We finally had to call an exterminator who came and sprayed. So far no more ants.

Our exterminator used bait stations with a paste. The ants took it home and the nest died.
