Man, me too. I forgot it was a blackout, and I couldn't do a ticket swap or use a voucher. I tried.
Could have bought a discount ticket for more than I paid for season ticket.
Decided to eat pie and watch on TV.
I think Chicago got ambushed. The just looked shocked.

Islanders 56 points
Devils 55 points.
Pens 55 points.
Canes 54 points.

This could get to be real fun.

I'll save the pie for tomorrow night when the Kings play on NBC. DeMo's!

I'm all for the Canes making a playoff run.

5-0 final. Just like you said Mike, next home game is Feb 12th. Maybe this state will be home of the Super Bowl champions by then.

And, Feb 12 brings the Pens to town. Should be good.

I'm proud of myself. Have been to 19 of the 26 home games. The schedule works out, more often than not I'm coming straight from work in Cary.

They need to start winning a lot more divisional games. That I think is going to be key down the stretch.

Other than that, this has been a nice little run they have put together since the Dallas game.

The issue with the Canes is that while they're playing much better lately there is a huge log jam of teams in front of them. Add that to the fact that they have played 51 games already. The Pens have played 3 less games and are 1 point in front of them. The Isles have played 4 less games and are 2 points up. The Caps have played 4 less games and are 20 points up!

I like the Canes somewhat, but with that being said...go Islanders!

The Islanders are going down on February 13. Two Points To Carolina! IN Regulation!

But, the kids are only getting better and better. And the logjam is very congested. Every point will matter.
The fact that the Canes have played more games IS a stroke against them. You can't change that, so it just puts more pressure on them to stay hot, and to treat every game like a playoff game.
I wish the Caps had beat the Flyers, though.

<LMAO>
Is there more status in being a Canes Fan in Cary, or in Chapel Hill?
</LMAO>
