The season ticket holder food allowance makes a burger and a beer more affordable.
Of course, it seems that some folks use the whole allowance on beer.

Do you go to most of the games?

I've been to 5 or 6.
We hope to sell off half the season, and it would help if they would win a few more.

Let's see who has been to more come the end of season.

I was just in LA two weeks ago for some Kings games, and am driving down to Florida for Thanksgiving and going to the Kings-Lightning game there...so on a bit of hockey overload at the moment, hehe. But I have become a Canes fan, even if they suck.

Not enough mustaches in the area to support hockey. I mean, look at Chicago, Pittsburgh, Buffalo: What do the fans have in common?

26 of the 41 home games are on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Is that normal? Never seen such a weekend-dominated home schedule before.

I am a huge fan and make the trip at least once a year from Charlotte. I also keep up with our teams AHL affiliate, also in Charlotte.

I know winning cures all, but this team for a majority of this decade has played like they do not give a damn. Eric Staal is a very strange individual. He could easily be a top ten player in this league, but he plays like he is just going through the motions most of the time. That is not what a captain should be doing, and it seems to trickle down to the rest of the team.

No playoffs since 2009 has turned off a lot of people. It's one thing to go through a dry spell, it's another to continuously ice the same team over and over again and expect different results, which is what this team has been doing.

We do at least have a bit of a bright spot in that we have some excellent up and coming defensemen and an already proven potential Norris contender in Justin Faulk. 3 years ago we were icing a defense of at-best fringe NHLers.
