We have more points now than we had all season last year.
And we are on pace to exceed the year before.
Carolina Hurricanes - Statistics

I loved hearing Tripp saying how cool it is that rookies will try to do what they are told to do by the coaches.

I guess I picked a good year to become a fan! Versteeg hasn't done much as a King yet.

He got into a fight in his first LAK game, didn't he?
He didn't like to finish his checks here.
😉

We got into a line brawl with the Ducks. They always start it, not us.

Yeah. I wear #24, Brad Malone, and that is what I always say, too.

I've heard rumors that Versteeg could make his way back to Carolina. Apparently he liked it here. I'm a Versterg fan.

What? He just got traded to the Kings. He isn't going anywhere for the rest of the season.

UFA after the season unless LA gets him under contract.

And, he is a "rental forward" by history. I like the Canes pipeline of prospects under development.

Not sure if the Kings will keep him around, he's really just a fill in for Gaborik at the moment.

We need more talent on the wings, especially if the hints Francis has been dropping about seeing Lindholm and maybe Skinner get more time at center come to bear. Realistically speaking anybody we pick up in the draft won't be ready for a few years - I see no problem with bringing Steeger back on a 1-2 year contract at a reasonable cost.
