So far the best price I've found for 10 ft live christmas tree is $150. Does anyone know of any cheaper near Clayton, nc

It takes about ten years to grow a tree of that size.

Yeah. That price actually sounds good. If you wait until the week before Christmas, you might find cheap ones. Or, they may be all sold out.

Drive up near Sparta. I-40 and then I77 at Statesville, US 21 after that.

It may sound like a PITA but you will enjoy it.

I used to have great luck with the 1st batch of food lion trees each season. They are not organized by size, so you have to pick through them. Found a great 9 footer several years in a row, think the price was ~$30-40 each time, far cheaper than a tree lot.
