This may be old news by now - but the viral photo of the poor dog with his snout taped shut? The crazy lady is in Cary:

I'm glad they found her.

"...no sign of injury, not even hair loss..."

Makes me wonder how she managed that?

We had a cat from the pound that had been taped up with duct tape, and no way could they get it off without tearing her hair and even skin.

That was odd. Maybe the tape was lined with something to make it non sticky to prevent injury. Maybe just a Facebook prank to look humorous. Bad idea whatever it was.

She must not have heard about Caitlyn, who was taken in by the Charleston Animal Society. I think that guy is facing felony charges. Luckily, she is doing very well these days.

I'm guessing that is exactly what she did - ugh, but lucky for the dog that there were no injuries. Awful either way.

What a stupid thing to do. And to document it on social media? Even dumber. I'm glad the animal wasn't seriously injured.

News vid stated that she said that the tape was only on the dog for about a minute, so the pic was probably something that she thought was going to be funny and it back fired completely. Even the police noted that:

Quote:
Cary Police said they checked the dog when they found Lemansky.
“… it’s important to also note that our animal control officers who physically examined both Brown and her littermate found the dogs to be very well cared for, which is why we did not and could not remove them from the owner. The dogs are current on their shots, spayed, and microchipped. They are clean and well-nourished and appear to be comfortable in their surroundings. And there were no signs of injury to Brown’s muzzle, not even detectable hair loss.”
I think she underestimated how much people really really love their pets. Not too long ago people caused a uproar over a skydiving cat commercial.

It's shocking to me how people react to things like this. Comments on some news articles are a lot worse than wanting to tape the lady's mouth shut.

Yes...awful either way! Even if it was a joke her sentence should be duct taping her to a fire hydrant in front of PetSmart for the weekend.
