Looking for a bar to go to for some before dinner drinks tomorrow night. Hubby is taking me to Buku for a date night. Looking for a nice place to sit and have drinks before we go to eat.
Buku has good drinks and a nice bar but would like to try some place different for a change. We rarely get a date night. Cheers!

How about Foundation. Great drinks and I like that it is underground, it has a very cool vibe.

If you want nice craft cocktails try Fox Liquor Bar or the Foundation. For more of a traditional pub atmosphere try London Bridge.

Looking for something more bar than pub. My husbands from London. Pubs here are a bit of a let down. lol

They nailed it w foxs and foundation. Not pubs, these are more like speakeasy/lounges.

C Grace is very nice. It's not very close to Buku though. It's in the Glenwood South area. Common 414 is good also. 1920's theme. Around the corner from Buku at City Plaza.

If you don't think either of these will work for you. Just start walking. DT Raleigh may be short in a few areas. Bars no shortage. They don't call it "drunk town"for nothing lol

The Green Light is pretty cool and different. It is located at The Architect (bar/nightclub later at night) on Hargett St. It is behind a secret door as you go up the stairs and to the right. There is a bookcase that looks real but it is actually a secret door. Open that up and then you will walk into a cool bar that makes some really good drinks.
