We used UPack for our move a few years ago.

Bought UHaul boxes to have sizes that stacked together.

Hired local college students to load. Hired off of Craigslist to unload.

Best move we ever had. It was less expensive than renting a truck, paying for gas, etc. Had more time as the trailer sat in our driveway for several days for loading and unloading.

Best move ever. Didn't lose a or ruin a thing, which was quite common during the years big moving companies moved us.

Our last move we did half and half.

We packed all the small stuff into boxes, hired college kids at both ends to pack/unpack, and rented/drove a truck with one of the cars pulled behind on a trailer.

For the larger stuff and furniture we hired pros.

The combination worked out easier than moving everything ourselves and cheaper than having the pros move everything.
