Brookstone (Cary) (to rent, buying a house, neighborhood)

I saw the website for this subdivision.
It seems like a nice place, with a variety of price ranges.
I saw a home for $279k......would that be in a good section?
Is this a family friendly area?
It seems like they are very into their community and rules of it.
Do they go overboard?
I currently live in a community in Florida where it goes beyond ridiculous with their rules, etc.
If I even gave you some examples of what they do, your draws would drop.

My brother lives there. I think it's a great neighborhood. The homes were built by Centex - a production builder. I think Centex builds a pretty good home tho. The neighborhood has great access to Hwy 55 & Beaver Creek Commons for shopping. I tried to rent a house there when I first moved to Cary, but no one would rent for just 6 months. I don't think you could go wrong buying a house there.

The area it is in is VERY good. Not sure about the builder. If its Centex I've heard good and bad. Make sure you get a GREAT home inspector if you go with this home.

We viewed the house you are talking about in November when it was still listed at $295K. The subdivision really impressed me, but this particular home left much to be desired. It was really dirty/grimey and not very well maintained. If you compare prices with the rest of the neigborhood its probably priced accordingly to its condition. Well IMO anyway
