I've also been searching for a good car wash. I would stay away from Carolina Auto Spa on NW Maynard in Cary. I wasn't overly impressed when I took my car there, and they didn't do that great of a job.
Anyone know anything about Spiffy? They come onsite once a week where I work, and I've been thinking about giving them a try.
By the way, this thread made me think of a new business from western NY that we can say we need (now that we are getting a Wegmans) - Delta Sonic car wash.

Car Wash Lodge in Cary near Kildaire Farm & Tryon isn't that bad
If I don't do it myself I always go to Autowash Express on Six Forks at Strickland.
I typically use this location, and they do an outstanding job - when I want exterior, interior and the wheels all done. But just last night, I used the American Pride Car Wash near Brier Creek, and was really impressed with the $10 exterior express wash.
