Our favorite Chinese-American restaurant in the area!! It is really good and everyone we've ever brought there, loves it!! Nice place to eat in with a piano player on weekend evenings!!

Chinese Restaurant Raleigh | Takeout Chinese Food Raleigh NC
We've been and agree that it's good! But it's at least 15 minutes without traffic from our home in BCCC.

I just think it's weird that BC has 4 sushi places (including Champus who has sushi on their menu), 2 big Indian restaurants, 3-4 Mexican restaurants, but only takeout Chinese. It's bizarre.

There are no true Chinese restaurants (free standing) here that I've seen. Most are of the strip mall type.
C&T Wok in Morrisville is probably my favorite place in the area (it's in a strip mall though but definitely not strip mall quality)

Not surprised they closed, more surprised people actually went there!
But, but, but...free refills on italian sodas!

Yep, I agree. And it's a more ' authentic' menu than Imperial Garden. But it's still not in Brier Creek.

Red Bowl at Davis and High House in Cary has pretty decent food, and is an actual restaurant. They even have a mai tai, but it's terrible.

"True" Chinese restaurants don't serve Scorpion Bowls or Mai Tais.

By "true" do you mean authentic? Then of course not.

Scorpion bowls and mai tais generally get served at "polynesian style" American Chinese restaurants. I'm not aware of one in the Triangle.
