Default Can anyone tell me about woodcroft?

I'm going to be coming down to Durham from Michigan next week and am going to look at Lochridge townhomes, which ticon properties describe as being in the woodcroft community. Anyone have any experience with woodcroft or with Lochridge townhomes/fox chase apartments?

Paging MrsSteel.

In all seriousness, there are several threads on the subject. So, I'd recommend doing a quick search to get all the basics and then return for specific questions.

MrsSteel lives in Woodcroft and can tell you all about this very nice area of town. We live very nearby -- convenient to shopping, expressways, great walking trails, mature trees...

Where in Michigan are you relocating from? We are Michigan transplants ourselves...

One thing I will add Nick, is that I know the Lochridge apartments very well. Before we were wed, the wife lived there.

To be honest, though Woodcroft is nice, these apartments are very old and devoid of amenities. There's many better options than these places. Try the Lodge at Southpoint apartments for example.

Unfortunately the the lodge at southpoint is a bit out of our price range. My wife is a teacher and I am a probation officer. We dont make a ton of money and have massive student loans. Trying to pay those down before buying a home

Ah, so this is why my ears were burning!

Nick, as you've gathered by now, I live in Woodcroft. Gary was kind enough to post links to some threads in which I've talked about the community. Check out the first thread there. After the photos of the houses are some photos of the walking trails & Woodcroft Parkway.

Unfortunately, I can't give you any info about the townhomes. I can go out & take some photos of the buildings if you'd like, but that's all I can offer. Sorry! .

Nick, you will love the Woodcroft area. We lived there for 2 years until we recently moved for a different type of living. We loved being near Southpoint and the Woodcroft area was very quiet, safe and peaceful. Great choice for a relocator.
