We used Moving Labor Brokers in both NJ to load our POD and here in NC to unload it, plus move some heavy furniture from our apt to new home. You do the packing...its $270 for 2 guys for 4 hours and then I think $40 per hour over that. Worked our perfectly for us!

We used Holloway movers for our local move. Google it, they have a website.

Default Movers to recommend?

We're moving our stuff from storage into our new house at the end of the month, and we're looking for a moving company with a good reputation that won't charge us off the planet. Anybody have a recommendation?

I used Two Men and a Truck recently. Very cheerful guys and they did a great job.

I actually just got a bunch of local move quotes (I am only moving 3 large pieces of furniture) and two men and truck are definitely the cheapest I've found, and seems to have great reviews. You could also call, All The Right Moves, which I've heard are great people, too.
