Has the Aeropostale closed yet?

That's obviously a broader issue than just CTC, but another significant loss for the mall.

If it's an Ollies, I'd say it could be the first steps toward CTC turning into more of a discount, Marketplace Mall as opposed to a traditional Shopping Mall.

I know I am just dreaming but what about an Ikea?

I think the mall concept, as we know it, is done; not just here but nationwide.

CTC getting an Ollie's? that's a laugh. They could have had Top Golf, but the Cary whiners and NIMBY's ruined it for everybody else

CTC was the wrong place for a TopGolf. Crossroads area was a much better spot, but for some reason it didn't work out.

Uh...
Thanks for the lol.
You got it.

Another, more serious thought...
Malls are struggling everywhere because the goods available at retail are often easily available online, and there is not much retail loyalty to bricks and mortar.
So, offer something that people need to leave the house for.
Gut the vacant anchors and build an entertainment complex, indoor auditorium(s), movies, and target affiliated businesses, restaurants, clubs, etc.
Big investment, but a solid opportunity in a great location.

I was in CTM last week. Thought I was in a run down mall in Detroit area. Sad. Just about everything between Belk and Dillard's are empty.
