I'll third the above sentiments, no idea what you're talking about. Please elaborate.
There is a poster here who likes to post where CPD has their speed traps; overall, revenue generation via speed enforcement is big here in NC - bigger than it was where we lived in the dreaded northeast. You will quickly learn where those speed traps are, but maybe you can bust out your worldly persona and language skills and confuse them. They are just cops, after all.
b) not a troll (check my other posts) - sheesh, tough crowd this appears to be....
c) yes it based on impressions from a thread primarily about traffic violations and what seemed to be a number of speed traps near hills, etc.; wasn't sure if it was limited to that so asked
d) can't remember which thread as I've just joined the forum and have been reading many pages of threads in preparation for a move there (or potentially other places) - I see K4GBP replied, will check his posts later if not too many
Not sure if it was Cary or not or just in the same thread but one person mentioned getting a ticket for 1mph over the limit, IIRC.
I regularly exceed the speed limit by 5-10 mph in Cary (or anywhere else for that matter) and have never been pulled over in the 10 years that I've lived in NC.

me neither and I've been driving 30 years here (showing my age )
There was a recent PR campaign stating that (basically) the law is the law and the police were going to start pulling people over even if they were going 1 mph over the limit. Was not limited to Town of Cary though. Have not seen it enforced. Judging by the number of people doing 10 mph under the speed limit during rush hour, some seem to be taking it to heart.
Good to see the OP was just basing his/her opinions on speed violations. I have had to contact the Cary PD for other issues, and they have always been very courteous and VERY responsive. They are very quick to arrive at your house or anywhere else you need them to be (unlike Durham Police, although they are busy with "other" things).
And I'm fine with Cary PD handing out speeding tickets. Because frankly, people speeding and driving aggressively is dangerous to our ever-growing population that is full of kids.

and, here's how you can help Cary PD with a current issue:
If that kind of thing happens near a high school, one should contact the SRO at the suspected school. Kids around here hand over their vehicle info when they get a parking spot at their high school, a fact which many of the lesser IQs seem to forget when they pull stunts like this.
