Input on neighborhood : Devereaux, Cary (houses, to buy, inspection)

We are planning to buy a home in the next few months(hopefully). Saw one in Devereaux. But, we are not very familiar with or around the area.
So any input will be much appreciated.

That area is very desirable, but make sure the house itself is OK, with good inspection and maintenance issues as these homes are about 20 years old.

Yes, very desirable. So desirable that it took my client about 4 offers to finally get a home in there!

I like Devereaux, don't hear too many people looking there but nice homes in a nice location for a not-outrageous price.

I live in a nearby neighborhood. Love the location. Convenient to Davis and 55 as well as 5 grocery stores within 3 or so miles.

We're moving out of Devereaux next week. Had 17 showings and 5 offers after the first full day on the market, sold for $12k over asking. I'd say it's a desirable neighborhood...
