I have searched high and low for tonic water in 2 liter bottles, even distributors here don't seem to carry it....anyone know where I can find it ? I know it exists, Shasta bottles it in 2 liters...much cheaper than 1 liter...there must be others... I am used to buying it for 99 cents in AZ. Around here, Food Lion thinks they are giving you a deal at 99 cents for 1 liter.

TIA

are you in VA, or in NC?

I don't recall having seen "mixers" - tonic water or club soda - in 2 liter bottles in my 50 years of living in NC. Just ginger ale.

"are you in VA, or in NC?"....VA. Raleigh/Durham is the closest large metro area. Some store, somewhere, has it....I just haven't been able to find it.

EVERYTHING here costs more than it did in AZ (except pork).

Have you tried Walmart?

Yep. The lack of happy hours and the existence of ABC stores are my only serious complaints about living in NC.

I purchased a tri-tip roast from Earth Fare once. Someone had mentioned it was so good. It was ok. Not a lot different from an eye round roast, IMO.

TriTip needs to be marinated and cooked rare or at most medium rare. Otherwise, don't bother.

I've seen it a few times around here, I think, but the prices were always too high for me to buy.

ETA - I think I've seen them at Costco, abd I'd bet The Butchers Market carries them.

Food Lion is my only local choice, if you look on their shelves they have every conceivable drink in 2 liter bottles....except tonic water. I figure with greater shopping options in Raleigh/Durham, I might get lucky.
