Hello. I hate going to the dentist, always have... I'm 33 and admitting that going to dentist freaks me out. Not in love with current dentist but it's close to home base.
Live in HS and work in RTP.
Does anyone have a dentist they would recommend that uses gas for not only procedures but also nervous patients?
I think Digital Dentistry of Southpoint in Durham does. I only need it for major procedures, not cleanings, but at least their web site says they use it. I chose them when I moved here in December from NJ for just that reason. Give them a call and ask.
Dr. Leah Beavers at Beavers Family Dentistry in Apex. She is the sweetest, kindest, gentlest dentist I've ever gone to. I'm not sure about whether or not she recommends gas, but I'm sure she probably has it available.

Thanks
Dr Marabasi in the old Food Lion shopping center corner of Kildaire and Penny. Had a tooth that was neglected for years and thought it was a scrapper. He saved it and I couldn't be happier.
Signature family density on Sunset and Holly Springs. You won't regret it, I also hate the dentist and they have changed that. They do make you pre pay to get on the dentists schedule for any work, but cleanings and consults they do not. I found the prepay thing awkward at first but they are worth it. I have spent a lot of money there unfortunately, but my teeth thank me.
I am not sure about the gas part, but I HATE needles and they are great at doing the injections at least for me.
I believe Village Dental on Six Forks specializes in sedation dentistry.
For anyone just looking for a regular dentist, I recommend Dr. Orander near Rex in Raleigh. The most patient, empathetic dentist I've had, out of many.
I've always been terrified of dentists, because of many years of work and fillings when I was younger.
I also appreciate how conservative he is about recommending fillings or surgery.
He's permanently fixed old bad fillings that caused me persistent pain and multiple dentists had tried to fix.

+1
Superb team of dentists and staff who also happen to be some of the nicest local people I know.
Since you work in RTP, I highly recommend Dr. Lopez at Research Triangle Dental. He's amazing. The other dentists there seem good, too. Dr. Lopez is amazing with the needle. "Pain is highly overrated," he'll tell you
