I've eaten at the Peak City Bar & Grill. The food is quite good. A great place for a dinner date or to celebrate and anniversary. It is a bit pricier than your average dinner out.

You've done it once again! Wonderful pictures! We really appreciate and enjoy them greatly! Maybe next time you can hit Wake Forest.

Nice pictures. What time of day did you snap them? The town looks neat but empty?

It was around 9:30-10:00 in the morning on a Saturday. Most of the shops were not open at the time. I also try to avoid including people in my pictures at times becasue they sometimes seem uncomfortable when they see a stranger taking their picture!

Loved downtown Apex and wish we had lived closer to it when we lived in Apex. Peak City Grill is very good. Salem Street Soda shop is more of a teen/preteen hangout (Apex Middle School is within reasonable walking distance to it as is Apex High). I almost hate to say Apex is the best town by far to live in in Wake County because it is already growing WAY too fast for most people who live there and enjoy the charm of it (eventhough most of them are actually transplants as well from the 90's/early 2000's)

Great photos... I love downtown Apex. Its very charming and has a few nice shops, business and places to eat. I went by for the first time in a long while 2 weeks ago, I need to start going more often for lunch or just to walk by on a nice day.

Thanks for taking the time to post. Have lived in NC for 27 years, and never went down to Apex...will have to check out Peak City Grill and the Rusty Bucket.
Thanks for sharing!
