Since Spring is getting near (my camellias are getting ready to bloom!), I thought it might be a good time to start a thread about some of the great local places to go when the flowers start blooming.

One of my favorites is WRAL Azalea Gardens, which is located near NC State and Pullen Park.k

Gorgeous photos!

It's not terribly original, but my favorite place in the spring is Duke Gardens.

The pergola at the top of the terrace garden is spectacular when the wisteria is in bloom.

We love: the WRAL gardens, Duke Gardens, The Rose Garden (in Raleigh), Lake Johnson, The farmer's market and the Arboretum in Raleigh.
