I am planning on returning to N.C. sometime in March and continue looking at homes and hopefully find something this time around, (made several trips from N.Y. trying to find an affordable and nice community to purchase soon). I would like some input on Hortons Creek in Cary. I have read some reviews from 2008 to present and it appears that there is alot of negative reviews concerning this community. I would like to know if anyone has visited Hortons Creeks recently and what they think of their homes and working with the builder as far as any changes that may be requested. Are they easy to work with? I have 4 children ages 15 -23 and would like to know if there is a mix of children in this age group? Also, is the surrounding area very busy with traffic? Thanks!!

Ellen

My reply was grossly incorrect. Horton's Creek is great, I was confusing with another development, Turner Creek. The homes are great and the builder and staff is very easy to work with from what I hear. No issues from anyone I know that lives there. The neighborhood is quite nice, homes are very well built and I hear the people who live there are very happy. If I was to build a house I would move there.

Try Jamison Park in Apex. (off Ten-Ten and Westlake Roads). Striking subdivision, that is lanscaped beautifully! Lots of trees and HUGE & well maicured lots. Large homes built by all custom builders, and schools are within ealking distance. Homes are from mid 400's-800K. Check it out!

But be prepared for NC540 to be in your back yard if you are not careful.
