My mom is coming for a visit soon. She loves to go for afternoon tea. Does anyone know of a nice place for tea in the Cary/Apex/Fuquay area? Thanks!

Herons at the Umstead Hotel in Cary has afternoon tea if you want upscale.

I know that Herons in the new Umstead Hotel has high tea. I haven't tried it, but the restaurant is very well reviewed.

There was a thread recently about this,..........I know there is a place in fuquay, at least from what I remember. If not there is a tea house in downtown apex, and another in wake forest.

check the wral site (local news station)...not too long ago they did a story on a tea house in some small town around somewhere- wasn't really paying attention, but I know it was in a small town! lol ( that helps, right? haha)ill look and see if i can find it. if i do, ill come back and post a link

okay, well...I couldnt find the article, but I DID find this- a link to all the tea houses in NC!
