Default Clayton Has a Night Life

I've been driving down Main Street in downtown the past couple of weeks and consistently the new restaurants are FULL. And people are walking along Main Street at night--it's alive!

If you haven't been out in Clayton lately (whether you live here or not); take The Clayton Challenge:

The Clayton Challenge:
Go out to dinner at a restaurant in Clayton. Support local independent business owners by choosing an independent restaurant such as:
The Flip Side
Clayton Steak House
Mulberry On Main
Festijos
Skylines Cafe

After dinner enjoy the entertainment options Clayton offers such as:
The Clayton Center (this weekend its the third annual Blues Bash--tix are just $15).
Go to The Flipside for live music and a drink (this Fri its DL Token)
Go to LOL comedy club (call for lineup)
Bowl at Rainbow Lanes
Go-Kart at Rush Hour

Where in the world is Festijos??? I have heard so many rave reviews about this place, but I have no clue where it is. I'm guessing its in downtown Clayton? If so, exactly where?

Great post! Brownie points coming your way!

Even though I live no where near Clayton, and the last time I was there it was...well...barely there....lol ...I do enjoy hearing of residents supporting and encouraging local business.

Support your local businesses!!!!

Thanks for the positive feedback!

Festejos (I spelled it wrong before) is at the very end of Main Street where Main Street connects with 70. It's in the shopping plaza/strip mall with the Tacqueiro (sp?) and Western Wear store. On one end is a take-out restaurant (with great Tortas!), next door is a small grocery store (great place to buy cheap limes and avocados), next to that is a western wear store and finally Festejos!

The address is 905 E Main St
359-1755

It's on the corner of Main St and Lombard St (there is a traffic light there- takes you onto 42) but the entrance is around on Lombard so you might not see it from Main Street. Second Street runs right behind it and you can see it better from there. The coffee shop is below -can't recall the name. It is about 1/2 mile from the post office.

The Coffee Mill.
You can see the coffemill from the side street, just go behind it and you will see the entrance to the Flipside.
