Has anyone heard of groups organizing buses to Raleigh on Saturday morning for the march?

I've only heard of one coming from Durham so I was hoping there might be a group coming from an area closer to me (Cary/Apex/Holly Springs). I'm worried I won't find a parking spot if I drive myself.

I'm a dude, so I'm not attending, BUT I do go to downtown a lot. I'd look at getting there early, and parking in the MASSIVE parking areas behind Seaboard Station, then you can walk or take the R-line. You might also see if there is anything specifically organized from satellite locations such as North Hills, Cameron Village, RBC/Carter Finley, Cary Town Center, or etc. I guess that was the question OP is asking, but I'm suggesting to focus specifically on those areas.

And finally, I'd be careful about taking the normally-scheduled bus. If the turnout is huge, there is the potential that you have no space on the bus. Just food for thought.

Tons of free government parking spaces in the downtown area - I've never seen them completely full.

What time is the march? I know the diocese of Raleigh has its annual pro-life rally tomorrow downtown from 10-12. Traffic might be a nightmare if there are two marches.

I would count on traffic being a nightmare.

This is a thread for informational purposes only. If you do not know why there are Trump protests in multiple states, with multiple locations, all over the USA this weekend, then I suggest you either read some of the links provided in this article or use Google for clarification.

This is not a debate topic. If you want debate, please head over to the P&OC forum.

Congressman David Price is holding an open house at the Raleigh Times from 9 to 10 Saturday morning. It's at 12 East Hargett St.

It might not be as much fun as activities in Washington.
