I used him a few years back to do some work on my trombone. He operates out of his place in Cameron Village or at least he did the last time I used him. He works on both wood winds and brass instruments. I found him to do excellent work at a fair price.
I noticed somebody mentioned Marsh Woodwinds. Just wanted to point out they are no longer in business.
I don't own a trumpet but have three trombones. Jim has done right by me.

I didn't know they had closed. I guess Rodney was long due for his retirement, although I'll bet he's still busy doing something.
I believe it was related to being forced out of the space (which had happened before, of course), but maybe they just got tired of being shuffled around all over town. I wouldn't be surprised if he still sees longtime clients on the side, but I dunno.
