Does anyone know who sells blue potatoes? Hoping to find a local grower/market that has these in Durham.
Thanks.

I've seen blue potatoes once at the State Farmers Market and at Trader Joes. Finding local ones in Durham might be a tall order... Why not start with a local farmers market? It's not like there are tons of farmers in the area.

Try Whole Foods or the Durham Co-op. I don't think it will be hard to find them The Durham Farmer's Market is a great suggestion too.

I have bought them at the Durham Farmer's Market. Yum.

Second vote for the Durham Farmer's Market - I've seen all color potatoes there. Makes for a very colorful potato salad!

My first attempt was at the new Durham Co-op Market -- none there. I suspected they'd be hard to find -- good to know they are available. Thanks, y'all. Sounds like a trip to the market is in order this weekend.

I don't think it's new potato season right now, though, so that may be why the Durham Co-op doesn't have them. You should be able to find some that have been in winter storage (maybe Durham Farmer's market, although summer would be a better time for potatoes there) or imported ones at Whole Foods. If you can't find any there Weaver Street Market in Carrboro often has them. I'd hit up Whole Foods first, though. They carry more imported stuff.
