Alpaca Peruvian Charcoal Chicken is pretty good. They have several triangle locations.

Monuts donuts and Med Deli (Chapel Hill) are well known places but the food prices and variety are unique.

I don't think anyone has mentioned the Remedy diner to this list, so I would suggest that.

++ Alpaca. That spicy green sauce is incredibly good!

Sunrise biscuit in Chapel Hill is a great breakfast. Rise biscuits and doughnuts is also delicious, but a bit more hipsterish/'artisan'.

I agree. I prefer Sunrise's biscuits, but Rise makes some good ones, too. I think the biscuit at Sunrise is just a half star above the Rise biscuit, but it's 5 stars to 4.5. Can't go wrong either place.

I do enjoy Rise, but the whole vibe is just a bit too 'Brooklyn 2011' for me. I'm also always astounded at the speed of Sunrise.
