Have an odd size photo I want to print and places like Walgreens are all about the 5x7, 8x10, Etc. Seems like even places online are stuck on standard sizes and many don't even really have a good interface for showing what part they are actually printing. I'd love to be able to talk to a knowlegable person who can print a weird size, the ratio it needs to be. I certainly don't mind cutting blank white area off top and bottom. Unfortunately phot shops are dwindling in number for sure.

Any reason not to just insert your 5.6"x7.2" (or whatever size) onto a standard size 8"x10" blank photo in one of the photo editing programs and just trim off the white? That way you can control the scale, and know that it is going to get printed at whatever scale you are looking for.

I have heard that Costco has some flexible photo options, but they might just send stuff out.

Possibly if I could find an easy way to do that. Prefer something available on an iPad.

I use GIMP on my MacBook Air, and I think that is available on an IPad. That should do what you are trying to do with no problems.
