Filtered out of the fridge dispenser. I replace the filter from Amazon when the light tells me to. I can't bring myself to use bottled water for everyday use due to the environmental impact. I'll sometimes use them on the go but even then I usually use a Tervis Tumbler.

Our house even stopped using the disposable K-Cups, instead we just fill up one of the wire screen cups with our bagged coffee. We fill the Keurig unfiltered from the tap for speed.

I'd say we are not afraid of straight tap or have a problem with flavor (Apex), I think we use the fridge more because the water is cold and right next to the ice. I grew up in Cleveland drinking water straight from the tap (Lake Erie water). I don't think I've had any ill-effects so far through my age of 36.

The color of the water is a result of the clay dirt at the base. It's not pollution.
Falls Lake has been declared polluted by the state a few times.
