Milorganite can also be purchased at home depot. I have also used it as a deer deterrent.

Just in case you're looking for Milorganite -The last time I purchased it at Home Depot it was in the outside storage building - I was surprised to find it.

Default Just a thought NRG

Are there any mushroom growers around Raleigh? We have one here in CA and they take all their old growth material (manure) and sell it to people in the area, you just back your truck up and tell them how much you want. I have friends that don't need that much so the take large buckets over and get just a little. The only problem they run across is the occasional mushroom growing. Our city also has a compost service. They pick up greens (yards clipping, lawing clipping and such) and sell it back to residents.

PS: just Googled (I love Google) mushroom growers in Raleigh and they list Garland Gourmet Mushrooms in Hillsborough.

TahTah for Now
