Why y'all think Morrisville is the best ? What are other things, if corrected, can make the place even better ?
Pros:
Parks/Sidewalks/Greenways etc..
Cons:
I think, the biggest issue is traffic on peak hours on McCrimmon pkwy/ Morrisville Carpenter road etc, but looks like there are plans currently being implemented to fix this. I also wish they stop building more houses!
I would also like Morrisville to include cooking oil recycling in the trash collection.
I'm curious about what plans are in place to fix traffic in the problem areas. I know they are talking about extending McCrimmon to Evans St. It will surely help some but will also take years to complete. I am not doubting you on this but I am wondering what else is in the works. I've not see anything that looks like it will make a significant impact.
HOW?????
I obviously wouldn't live there because it's too suburban, I'd live in any of the 10 largest cities in the state with the exception of Cary over Morrisville.
But assuming I had a family and my wife wanted to move to Raleigh suburbs, I'd consider Apex over Morrisville.
The methodology is all on Niche's site. Based on their profiles Morrisville edges out Cary A+ vs. A in public schools, jobs, and diversity. Morrisville is certainly served by some highly ranked schools, while Cary has more of a mix of great and merely good ones.
Airplane and train noise do not appear to be part of their criteria.
