We are looking for a Caribbean Market/Grocery Store in the North Raleigh area, but will travel to other parts of town.

I wish I had an answer for you. Have you explored Capital south of Triangle Town Center (way south...)? That seems to be where all of the non-vanilla stuff is. I think I may have actually found Peruvian chicken the other day ... whee!

Compare Foods in Durham is a very large Dominican grocery store with very good prices and an amazing selection of produce and specialty items. It's worth the trip. The Avondale store is the larger of the two and has fresh seafood, butcher, a tortilla line, and bakery.

Try the oriental store off Old Buffaloe and Capital for pig tails. Lots of Jamaican products.
