Still lots of seats available. I'm trying to decide if it's worth it. There are limited view seats for about $25 and regular seats around $59. A lot of DPAC shows sell out early. I'm wondering why this one hasn't?

Has anyone sat in those limited view seats? How good or bad are they?

Shows out DPAC sell out if they are sell out acts. I don't think the Paul Taylor Dance Company is a sell out act.

If they are the limited view seats at front of orchestra, you'll still be able to see most everything except for a bit in the wings on the side closest to you. More distracting is that you'll probably be able to see action backstage on the opposite side.

That's also the weekend of July 4th week - there are likely many people traveling and attending July 4th festivities then (Bulls Games, etc.) - fewer people looking to attend a dance performance.

Mainly you are seeing the difference between having the ADF shows at Duke (where they sold out all the time) and at the DPAC which is much bigger. We usually get the limited view seats since they are such a bargain, the ones in the orchestra pit are great, and the ones on the wings can cut out a small viewing area depending on the troupe, but usually don't cut anything out.

Thanks. Makes perfect sense.
