I was thinking this wasn't going to turn out good for her.

She didn't drive to a gas station 20 miles away on her break just to fill up.
I don't yet believe that she wasn't in distress - this reminds me of something that happened with a family member and the family member was being threatened (actually our family was) so she went along.

Agree, and a few days ago when they mentioned the Wake Forest gas station debit charge the friend said that would be completely out of her normal area from work to home.
Apparently she is trying to get away from someone...unfortunately she forgot the debit card is as easy to track as the phone.
Kinda odd that they would make her Wake Forest stop public.
She may be trying to hide and that seems invasive.
