Livingin Timberlake NC (Durham, Roxboro: house, restaurant, shop)

My husband and I are looking at a house in Timberlake and I will be working at Duke. What is Timberlake like? Things to do, grocery shopping eating out? I don't see a lot on line! Thanks for the information

It's a rural unincorporated community in Person County. I wouldn't expect much. Any reason you want to live so far from Duke? You'd probably need to come into Durham or go to Roxboro to do your grocery shopping and eating out. Might be a gas station and a Dollar General up there, but not much else.

Thats because there isn't a lot to see. 2 gas stations, a Dollar General, Country Kitchen Restaurant and Twins Meat Market. Prepare to drive to Durham a lot, for almost everything.
