As a mountainbiker, I remember the old "Morrisville Trails". Before the Target plaza, before all the businesses on James Jackson, before the apartment complex a little further away... You used to be able to park at the top of Morrisville Parkway, near Chapel Hill Rd, and ride trails all the way down to the creek and the railroad, and then on and on, all the way to Preston Golf Course (before much of the area was developed).
Off-topic, but I crashed my road bike when I hit a pothole on the ramp into Park Place from Chapel Hill Rd. I still don't know how I managed to get five different road rash patches on the same leg.

I live around there, and I think Ricci's is OK, but a little pricey. I never got a chance to try Amante in any of the locations.
It was named Carini's and was in the location that Los Tres currently occupies. When it opened, they were trying to sell Italian food at Daniel's prices in a cafeteria type open environment. Right before they closed, they built all the booths that are currently in Los Tres, but I guess it was too late for them.

IMHO, they were much needed because I can't stand eating somewhere where I can see all the way across the dining room. It's bad enough I have to deal with the open crap at work, certainly don't want it when I go out to eat.
