When I visited, I had the Bangers & Mash. While it was good, I thought it was a little overpriced for what you got.
Overall, the food was fine, but it wasn't compelling enough to keep me going there.
Yes, they both are good. Went to the one in Apex a couple years ago on a WCPSS snow day and my sister was in town. Talked with the owner for awhile, nice guy. My daughter judges all places by their chicken tenders and gives Doherty's thumbs up.
Your daughter has good taste, I also judge Irish Pubs by their chicken tenders. Bull McCabes in Downtown Durham has some good ones too
Love the Cary location but we have been going there for 17 years (when it was still Connolly’s). We have had most of the menu through the years and have never experienced a bad meal there.
Before Connolly's it was a Bistro..forgot the name but it too was awesome.
Never been a huge fan of Irish food, but this place has been a pleasant surprise. I've shied away from they area lately due to the HMart traffic, but may swing by. If they still do the mussels appetizer, you should try them. Delicious.
Been to both. A bit overpriced, but good service and good food. It's in our regular rotation of restaurants.
