This is true! When we moved here in 1988, there was a church in that location. Then Krispy Kreme, and now Cook-Out.

I moved to Preston since it was a ranch and Jim Goodnight cares about the area.

Nonetheless, before it was developed so lovingly by Mr. Goodnight, it was forests and fields that many people rode by and enjoyed, just like you riding down Olive Chapel Road. Now they ride by and see houses and offices and stores...just like you see on Olive Chapel Road. You really can't recognize that? Do you think its somehow different?

Their signs are in the windows, anyway.

And their advertising does show Park West:

The explosion of new construction along NC 54 between Maynard and Cary Parkway should benefit Park Place, if only it was spruced up somewhat.
A traffic signal at the intersection of NC 54 and Wilson Road, or at the main entrance off NC 54, would help the shopping center.
And, would help the residents at the new subdivisions along NC 54.
Last night, saw a tradesperson working in the Pharmor site.

Perhaps the owner saw this blog and decided to get the place rented.

Were getting a Drive shack now. I doubt Topgolf would come on top of that. But who knows!

Well I love North Hills, because finally Raleigh has a few spots that look like a city.

And that pile of trash of trash is walkable, which is respectful to our planet's future through less pollution, better health by encouraging walking, and easier on people's pocketbooks by not requiring an automobile to buy basic essentials.

ALL Y"ALL PLEASE GO PLANT A COUPLE OF TREES IN YOUR YARD to ensure Raleigh's landscape will remain beautiful despite all of the clearcutting.

Thank you!

Yes, North Hills is walkable but the apartments are quickly turning to junk.

The building over Harris-Teeter was described on apartment ratings as now smelling bad from H-T dumpsters and having a fire alarm issue causing some tenants to sleep with earplugs and ignoring fire alarms.

The traffic on Six Forks keeps growing from the new office buildings and greed was approved to build even more.

The original redevelopment was a step up but the developer will not stop and Raleigh will not stop them.

I agree with you, but ignore him, he's just trying to get a rise out of you with his regurgitated nonsense.

I wish we had some more developments like Cameron Village or other similar buildings that area - multi-family units and mid-rise buildings. Instead we either have relatively expensive single family housing or high rise apartment complexes, not much in between that allows people to maybe buy a cheap condo or townhouse.

If you go to Paris for example, there aren't a lot of skyscrapers but instead there are tons of 5 story buildings that are pretty consistent across the city.
