I say the "r."
And, I don't say the "t" in "often," so it rhymes with "soften."

Actually, was sternly taught that both of those are the only proper ways, but I have more tolerance for divergence than my third grade teacher did.

I can't remember the exact reference she made to a state, referring to it as being in a part of the country in which it has never been located. Her guffaws are outlandish. I think someone at the station stepped up to the plate recently and advised her to tone it down. In common with most of the rest of the crew she has an affinity for leaving the "r" out February. I would also be happy if she would keep cleavage off the screen. Button up every day. Even an occasional reveal is too much.
Elzabeth has out worn those belts she used to be fond of and that is a good thing. Also the tops of those tall black boots have disappeared from the screen. Much more attractive and less distracting. I like her presentations.
Sorry to see Greg Fishel go. He was upbeat and entertaining. If he was hiding mental illness or depression, he did it well. I hope to see him return.
I like Deborah Morgan, but I see her as a bright and shiny innocent purveyor of whatever is placed in front of her. She goes with the flow.
Brian Mims had an interesting and enjoyable approach. I thought he was fine as an anchor.
How come you don't provide as any comments on the attractiveness and attire of males at WRAL?

A suit is a suit is a suit. They likely don't get the privilege of choosing their outfits like the women do.

A man is more than a suit. How you wear it is important. And how is the hair, eyes, facial hair (if allowed on anyone other than Anthony Wilson), etc.

My quote was for oldtimeradio1.

My point is not to call attention to the males, but rather that there was a lot to say about superficial characteristics of a woman's looks but not the men.

Right or wrong, society places a lot of emphasis on women's appearances vs men's. Just look at the ads in magazines or the amount of floor space at a mall devoted to women's clothes, cosmetics, etc.

Well I think it is a very shallow person that would watch a tv personality strictly because of their looks and not their professional skills. Take Kat Campbell, despite her looks I am glued to the TV every time she is on the air.
