I cannot see a scenario where the judge meets with a political party to explain his ruling. That's just crazy talk. I have a couple of acquaintances who are judges and just don't see that occurring. Stop spreading rumors.

It does sound crazy. I also don't know why he would meet with the Durham GOP, an organization that has zero power and influence in the progressive-dominated Durham .

It's certainly not on the Durham GOP's events listing on their website which does have a couple of other March events on there. Methinks, "nah".

How many times do you need to say the same thing, all within 2 hours ???
It is on a GOP volunteer's Facebook page and I will work to confirm it and
report back, despite the fact that NorasMom thinks that means I am "all worked up"

I do think you're all worked up, but appreciate your efforts to confirm it, lol.

It seems really inappropriate...I'd also think it were inappropriate for a judge to appear before a dem group to (apologize) explain a decision. I dunno. Maybe it's no different than issuing a written opinion, technically, but it seems just...weird.

Um, what?

Reading is fundamental, Kelly...

I feel a judge appearing before a partisan group to defend a decision is inappropriate, maybe.

I guess you could keep trying to find a reason to fight online, though.

Nothing to fight about.
I have an opinion and others with
differing ones are welcome to chime in or
ignore the thread. Gotta love free speech.
