Charlotte has "The Dog Bar" and it always seems busy. They also just opened a cat cafe called Mac Tabby where you can pay to play with kitties. They also offer yoga and other activities with the kitties :-) All the cats are rescues awaiting adoption and within just two months they found homes for 50 cats! I would love our area to have something like that!

It's just a spinoff of Fullsteam (who has been actively dog friendly for years).

Don't get me wrong, I love the concept, it's just that this announcement is misleading.
Many local micro-breweries have been very dog friendly for a long time.
Where'd you see it's a spinoff of Fullsteam, Ed? Different owners (I don't see Sean Lilly Watson's involvement as one of the owners) - it just looks like they buy Fullsteam's used barley, but that doesn't make them a spinoff.

There is a cat cafe coming to Raleigh called Purr Cup Cafe. It's pretty much that same concept.
